jq: .a.b, .[0], .[2:4], .[], .., |, ,, ?, //, comparisons, and/or, arithmetic, […] and {…} construction, if … then … else … end, and select, map, map_values, keys, length, has, sort_by, group_by, unique_by, min_by/max_by, add, any/all, first/last, limit, range, flatten, to_entries/from_entries/with_entries, contains, test, split, join, ascii_downcase, tostring/tonumber, paths and more. Not variables, reduce, def, |= updates or string interpolation.
JSONPath (RFC 9535): $.a.b, $['a'], [0], [-1], [1:5:2], [*], .., [0,2] and filters like [?@.price < 10 && @.isbn], with length(), count(), match() and search().
